Thomas Lockridge

Thomas Lee Lockridge, 67, was born September 9, 1950 in Des Moines, Iowa to Robert and Betty (Driscoll) Lockridge. He passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at the V. A. Hospital in Des Moines.
Tom proudly served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam era and was stationed in Germany and Korea. He also worked as a mail handler for the U. S. Postal Service for over 30 years. He enjoyed fast pitch softball, golfing, fishing and bowling.
Tom is survived by his siblings Dennis Lockridge, Susan (Jeff) Snelling and James (Stephanie Mosher) Lockridge, nieces and nephews Chris Lockridge, Angela Duarte, Amber (Michael Perron) Lockridge and Jennifer (Kyle) Schehr, and great-nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Bradley, Sara, DJ and Everett.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law Peggy, and his brother David.
Services will be held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Visitation will be from 5-7pm Monday, April 9 and funeral service at 11am Tuesday, April 10. Burial with military honors will take place at Glendale Cemetery.
In lieu of donations, contributions may be directed to VFW Post 738 in loving memory of Tom.
