Dear Kelly, Shelly and Tina,
Wanted to add my condolences. Whenever, I have been to Valley Junction, I try to remember on what street and in what house your father and family lived in. Maybe the house is gone, but surely your fathers spirit remains. Peace be with you and yours.

Kathy and Family; I am truly sorry for your loss. I remember Dick as a very good ump and an even better person; a friend to all.. It was always a pleasure to work a tourney or a game with Dick.. Tomorrow I will say a prayer for his loved ones ; and reminisce about the good times spent together. I am sure Dick is at rest in peace... May God bless and console his family !

My Uncle Dick always was a significant part of my growing up. I will always remember the wonderful ways that he would tease me to make life happy all the time. We are so sad to have to lose him so early in life. However, the Lord had other plans for him, so it is alright. Just know that we love you so much, and we will miss you in so many ways. The Lord be with you dear Uncle Dick.

To a great neighbor and Friend. Our neighborhood is not the same without you. We hope the lord has made you his chief umpire and will continue to have you call balls and strikes for the thousands of ball players in his kingdom of heaven.
We miss you and will see you someday in the future. Rest in peace our friend!

Dick is finally "SAFE", at home, with his father. We smile when we think about that, but sad never seeing that smile of his here on earth again. Love you Dick
