Maurice "Moe" Decker
March 29, 2018
Maurice “Moe” Decker passed away March 29, 2018 at his home at the age of 63.
Moe was a self-employed contractor. He was a true entrepreneur. Moe loved golfing and fishing. He would say, if it were up to him he would fish more. Moe was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. First and foremost, he loved his family. He especially adored his grandson, Ethan and was the #1 uncle to his #1 niece, Felicia. Moe’s “love language” was his acts service. He was completely dedicated to those he loved, and taking care of them was his passion.
Moe was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Decker; mother, Frances “Doodle” Decker; and his brother, Darrel Decker.
He is survived by his caring wife, Mary Decker; daughter, Andrea and her husband Frank Guadiana; the joy of his life, grandson, Ethan Xavier; son Jeremy Decker; sister, Lynette Johnston; and numerous relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League in memory of Moe.
Condolences may be expressed at www.HamiltonsFuneralHome.com.

Mary and Family,
Words are always difficult to come by in times like these. They are simply never enough. We know that your pain and sorrow is unrelenting, and we wish there was something more that we could do to relieve your suffering. The passing of time will help, but there will always be an empty spot in your heart. Happy and fond memories will help to fill that void. Keep them close and visit them often. God Bless.

I know Moe will be missed by you Mary and his family. I remember when ya'll came to visit Randall after his surgeries, it thrilled him so much to see Moe, he was like a little brother to him. I will always remember the fun times we had with Randall, Decker and Moe. I pray for peace and comfort for you as the road ahead will not be the same without him there.

Thinking of you today Mary. We will miss him and his quiet ways. Especially his quirkie smile. His stories about the dogs in the snow tunnels. Glad you have friends and family around you in the coming weeks.Today you will cry at the loss but one day you will smile and laugh at his wonderful memory. Love you girl
