Jeffrey Feeley

Jeffrey Feeley, 64, passed away March 28, 2018, from pancreatic cancer. He was born in Des Moines and graduated from North High School.
Jeff worked for 42 years at Ziegler Cat, formerly Gibbs-Cook, most recently as Parts Manager. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing trips, and golfing with his buddies.
Jeff is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sharon; brothers, Tim (Melody) of Woodstock, IL and Michael of Des Moines; nephew, Zachery (Jen) of Woodstock; sister-in-law, Barb Wells; as well as other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Jeff has been cremated and he will be laid to rest at a future date at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. A wake will also be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be directed the American Cancer Society, Wounded Warrior Project, or Taylor House Hospice in loving memory of Jeff.

I am so sorry to see Jeff passed away. He always stood up for me when I was a kid. I'll never forget that. He always tried to encourage me. To me as a kid he was a gentle giant. I was Mike's stepdaughter. Jeff stood up for me when I couldn't.

So sorry Sharon to hear that Jeff died of pancreatic cancer thats what killed Mike also so painful. Jeff was a great guy, had a wonderful vacation with you guys to Tennessee.WE both have wonderful memories of our husband's to bad they had to be taken so early in life.

Sharon, deeply sad to hear about your husband passing. Haven't seen nor heard from you folks. However had been thing of you folks. We were always so close to your family they were our family. Pancreatic cancer is really rough very painful. My Ernie passed 1-22-2016 from that and 6 other kinds of Cancer. I took care of him by myself alone. Had Hospice but I was not impressed from when I helped Sister Bishop Drum and Joyce Hutchinson we worked together starting it in the Des Moines Area. I am so sad to hear about Jeff's passing. I was able to talk to him once after his diagnosis, but did not get to see him. He was a great patient and I enjoyed seeing him and being involved in his GI care. My prayers are with you during this hard time.

I am so sorry to hear of Jeffs illness and passing. I met Jeff in Red Lake, Ontario and spent many days watching Jeff, Jake and TT going back and forth catching walleye. Jeff is one of the good guys you enjoyed being with and talking with. My sincere condolences to the family and friends. R I P Jeff. Leave a few big walleyes for me when I get there.

Received word of Jeffs illness and passing from Stan Smith. We were shocked and saddened to hear of this. Worked with Jeff at Ziegler and made several trips to Canada fishing. He loved to fish and spend time in Canada. He will be missed. Our prayers go out to the family in this tough time.
