Allow me to express my condolences albeit late. I worked with Norma during her entire career at Iowa Dept of Public Health. If this office was the 'Miss America' contest Norma would easily have been designated Miss Congeniality for her kind temperament and good nature about things to say nothing about her effectiveness to attend all the details her assignment required. So I wish you well for a great wife, mom and friend to all the rest of us as the emeritus First Lady of Pleasant Hill. May her soul rest in peace.

Phil and Family, I share your sorrow. Norma was a special person. I always enjoyed sharing stories of State employment! She was a gem. Comfort one another as you remember her love. Love never dies. You are in my prayers.
