Michelle Madison

Michelle “Shell” Madison, 50, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 28, 2018.

Michelle was born to Claude and Linda Davis on November 20, 1967. She was the eldest of three daughters. She married Randy Madison on February 14, 1986. Shell was mainly a stay-at-home housewife and mom to their kids. She was a very family oriented woman, her family meant everything to her.

She is survived by her husband Randy of 32 years, two sons Jesse (Lindsey) and Danny (Taylor) Madison, daughter Linda Madison (Ed), the mother of her granddaughter and her daughter for the last 10 years Kayla Shelburg, her mom Linda Davis, all of Des Moines. She is also survived by her sister Missy (Jamey) Dunlap of Earlham, IA, six grandbabies and one on the way, six nephews and one niece, two great-nephews and three great-nieces, and a lot of extended family.

Shell was preceded in death by her dad Claude, sister Marsha, both sets of grandparents, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The viewing will be held at her home, 1530 Mattern Avenue, Des Moines from 10 a.m. Thursday, March 29 until 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 1. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, April 2, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines, with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Iowa Center.
