Frank "Buddy" Clausi, Jr.

Frank Clausi, Jr., 62, known to his friends as “Buddy”, passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 23, 2018.

Buddy was born June 11, 1955, in Des Moines, Iowa to Frank Sr. and Mary (Darrah) Clausi. He worked as a robot programmer for EFCO for 24 years. Buddy was a lifelong avid fisherman, spending many hours doing what he loved. He had a great sense of humor and will be fondly remembered by his stories, ability to make people laugh and his willingness to help others.

He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce; his children, Frank III, Brady, Donnie, Eric, Brandy and Emily; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his sister, Pam.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Delores.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2018, at Glendale Cemetery.

At Buddy’s request, please no flowers or plants. Instead, consider donating to the DNR, or directly to the family to assist with expenses.
