Laresa Kay Krugler, 65, passed away on Sunday March 18, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born in Eugene, Oregon on May 4, 1952 to Thomas and Thelma Breese.
Laresa was a member of New Life Apostolic Church and retired from the dry cleaning business after 35+ years. She loved her dog, Aubrey Rose, who made her smile every day. Laresa took great pleasure in life and had a great faith in God. She enjoyed playing Keno, gardening her Morning Glory flowers, and spending time with her family.
Laresa is survived by her daughter; Lori Proctor; sons, Kenneth Krugler, Jr., Bruce Krugler, and Jeffrey Krugler; grandchildren, Tim Tinkle, Sarah Caraballo, Rickie Krugler, Ashley Forret, Travis Krugler, Tyler Krugler, Chase Krugler and Jeffrey Krugler, Jr.; seven great grandchildren; siblings, Dennis (Carol) Breese, Larena Nellis, Luana (Bill) Williams, Steve (Judy) Breese, Art (Janie) Breese and Linda (Scott) Barnes along with a host of beloved family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Krugler; and brother, Lynn Breese.
A memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, Des Moines.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Shannon VanTassel to help defray funeral expenses.

Lori, My heart is full of sadness for you and your family. Laresa was full of light and made every work day more cheerful. She was such a good friend to us.. She will be dearly missed.
