Robin C. Comegys

Robin C. “Rob” Comegys, 51, passed away March 10, 2018, from complications of diabetes. He was born in Anaheim, California, on November 6, 1966, to Donna and Robert Comegys, Jr.

Rob worked at Midwest Wheel for 15 years and was currently employed by Pepsi where he had worked for many years in various positions. He was a member of Highland Park Church of the Nazarene and Teamsters Local 90.

Rob cherished his family and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also had a great love for his dog, Cosmo.

Rob is survived by his wife of 29 years, Juanita; children, Tanis (Brittnea) Comegys and Alexandra Comegys; grandchildren, Adelynn and Daxton; parents, Bob and Donna Comegys; siblings, Jack (Vicki) Comegys, Tracy (Richard) Northway, and Brett (Jenny) Comegys. He was also blessed with 36 nieces and nephews, other loving family, and many friends. Rob was preceded in death by his grandson, Ryder Comegys.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018, at Highland Park Church of the Nazarene, 4335 NW 6th Drive in Des Moines. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5-8 p.m. at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines.
