Service Details
Fred D. Hildebrand, 56, passed away fulfilling his dream in Long Beach, CA on June 4, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Fred was born December 6, 1951 in Des Moines. He most recently worked at Mrs. Clark’s Foods in Ankeny. Fred was a member of the Graphics Union and his greatest passion in life was square dancing.
Fred is survived by his son, Jody; sisters, Linda Clark, Shirley Sater and Judith Triggs; brother, Bob Niemeyer; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Margaret (Mathias) Hildebrand.

Fred is one of the kindest and caring people I know. He will be missed greatly
by myself and my family. He was my children's God Parent. We spent many enjoyable evenings with Fred country dancing. It was what brought us together in the first place when Dennis met Fred. Fred always had a smile and a hug for me when I saw him. He will be greatly missed by all. So sorry for your loss.
