Roger Morris

Roger Samuel Morris, 84, died, Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Taylor House. Roger was born on November 10, 1923 in Boone, IA to Harry and Nancy Morris.
He served his country in the United States Army Air Corp until his honorable discharge. Roger worked in auto body over 40 years until his retirement.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mary; daughter, Linda Williams; granddaughter, Monica and husband John Mongar, two great grandsons, Nicholas Samuel and John Wayne Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2008 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines; burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Family will visit with friends from 9 a.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Taylor House in loving memory of Roger.
