Neva Reese

Neva Reese, 76, died Friday, May 30, 2008 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
Neva was born February 7, 1932 in Iowa City to Leona and Arlow Port. She was a pharmacy technician at Mercy Hospital for several years before her retirement in 1992.
Neva is survived by her children: Joseph, Jr. (Janet), Gene (Teri), Douglas, Dennis, and Thomas (Penny) Reese, and Maria (Bill) Prather; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; her sister: Vesta (Gene) Berry; her brother, Frederick (Linda) Port; her sister-in-law Reva Thomas; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joe, Sr., her sister Leota Garton, and her brother Forrest Thomas.
