Caroline Sappenfield

Caroline (Nan) Sappenfield, 92, died, May 26, 2008 at Taylor House. Caroline was born on June 18, 1915 in Des Moines.
Caroline is survived by daughter, Sharon (John) Sobieski; son, Norman (Bobbie) Sappenfield; Diane and David Sappenfield; 2 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Caroline was preceded in death by her husband, George; her parents and a granddaughter.
Graveside services will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Pine Hill Cemetery, 508 NW 54th Ave., Des Moines. Family will visit with friends from 11-12 p.m. on Thursday at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Taylor House in loving memory of Caroline.
