Mildred Beener

Mildred Eva Beener, 91, passed away Monday, May 26, 2008 at Parkridge Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mildred was born in Colfax, she was a lifelong resident of Des Moines, retiring from the Veterans Central Iowa Health Care System after many years of service. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
Surviving are a nephew, niece and two great nieces.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, May 30, 2008 at Our Lady Of Americas Visitation Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m., with burial in Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon, with a vigil service at 5:30 p.m.
