Randy Allen Hood

Randy Allen Hood, 47, of Davenport, Iowa, died on May 20, 2008 after a car accident in Illinois.
Randy lived forty-one years in Des Moines, and for the past six years in Davenport. He began his career as a carpenter, followed by 20 years in the car business. Recently, he was an independent business contractor.

He was an avid NASCAR fan, a foosball enthusiast, but most of all he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Randy was preceded in death by his father Ron Hood, his grandparents James and Vivian Hood and his grandfather Ward Ogden. He is survived by his grandmother Thelma Ogden, his mother Betty Hood; his children Brent (Amanda) Hood, Amanda Hood, Sam and Richie Nissen; his brothers Tim and Matt (Teresa) and sister Robyn; his grandchildren Caden and Kiya; and many friends.
Randy has been cremated, and a memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Saturday, May 24, 2008, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th St. in Des Moines.
