Dale Henderson

Dale Marvin Henderson, 78, of Berwick, IA went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 16, 2008 at Taylor House.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Hope Lutheran Church, 3857 E. 42nd St., Des Moines, IA with Pastor Timothy Braun officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
Dale was born April 22, 1930 in Rolfe, IA. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior June 29, 1952. Dale served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his sons, David (Becky) Henderson of Berwick, Bob (Marcia) Henderson and Donn Henderson; daughters, Becky (Frank) Payne and Linda (Les) Nichols all of Des Moines; grandchildren, Katrina, Sam (Chandra), Tim, Misty, Ben, Adam (Nicole), Katelyn, Kenny, Kaleigh and Becky; great-grandchildren, Frankie, Timmy Jr., Layne and Sydney; brother, Leo (Betty) Henderson of Plover Iowa; a large extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his devoted and loving wife of 55 years, Barbara; son, Bruce; grandson, Nathaniel; daughter-in-law, Karen; his parents; and four brothers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family, Hope Lutheran Church or Taylor House.
