Mary Lee

Mary Ellen Antenucci Lee, 83, passed away on May 8, 2008 at Kavanagh House in West Des Moines surrounded by family members. Mary Ellen was born to John and Margaret Brommel in Prole, Iowa, near St. Marys. The family moved to Des Moines when she was very young, and she lived in Des Moines all of her life.
Mary was preceded in death by her first husband and father of their ten children, Mike Antenucci, her second husband Stanley P. Lee, her Mother and Father, two brothers, a sister, and an infant son. She is survived by her brother Art Brommel, her children, Mary Jo Campero (Nick), Alice Anderson, Bernice Carroll (John), Margaret French (Dave), Michael Antenucci (Megan), Julie Antenucci, Patrick Antenucci (Diana), Karen Loney (Bob), Kevin Antenucci, 19 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.
Mary Ellen’s family will greet friends from 3-6pm Sunday, May 11th at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home where there will be a 6pm vigil service. A Mass of Christian burial will be 10am Monday at Christ the King Catholic Church with burial following at Glendale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Church.
