Peggy Sue Tompson-Rosenbalm-Kiefer

Peggy Sue Kiefer, 50, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held from 10 am Saturday until the time of the service.
Peggy was born January 10, 1958 in Des Moines to Ernest and Estella Thompson. Peggy worked in the housekeeping department at Terrible’s Casino in Osceola. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Osceola. Peggy enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting Indian dolls. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Anything from taking the grandsons fishing to going shopping with the girls was what she looked forward to.
She made sure to always let everyone know how much she loved them and to make sure they knew how much she appreciated each and everyone of them.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Kenny; her children, Bobby Rosenbalm of Hopeville, Betty Rosenbalm of Newton and Sherry Pinegar of Reasoner; her step children, Kenny Kiefer of Clear Lake, and Janey Reimer of Forest City; her sisters, Dorothy O’Donnell, Irene Thompson and Pat Kiefer; her brothers, Ernie Thompson of Thornton and Troy Thompson of Meservey ; her 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Just want to let you all know I am thinking of you during your time of sorrow. I am living in Oklahoma now, and just saw the obituary on the Registers web site. Our family has become spread all over the country it seems. You all take care up there in Iowa and remember I love you all. George
