Loriene Halterman

Loriene L. “Jean” Halterman, 100, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Granger Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2008 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Jean was very proud to have been a five generation grandmother and this was evident in the love she had for her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching baseball, playing cards and feeding animals.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Stoner; grandchildren, Sue, Steve and Melinda; six great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arch; grandson, Jeff; son-in-law, Jerry and three brothers.
