Glenn E. Bailey, age 78, passed away on March 2, 2018. He was born on August 20, 1939 in Des Moines, Iowa. Glenn worked as a certified technician for 40 years at Bob Brown Chevrolet and Ron’s Auto Repair.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 ½ years, Sheila Ann Bailey; children, Diane (Dale) Pehl, Aaron (Alene) Bailey, and Eric (Mitzi) Bailey; grandchildren, Ryan Bailey, Nathan Bailey, Andrew Bailey, Rachelle Bailey, Joshua Pehl, Justin Pehl, Dakotah Bailey, Sierra Bailey, and Ashley Liepa; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Glenn was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Eugene Bailey; mother, Vera Bailey-Noble; and daughter, Glenda Bailey-Wilson.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Capitol City Church, 5990 NE 14th St., Des Moines. Funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., Friday, March 9th also held at the church, followed by burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Sheila and family: I am so sorry to hear about Glenn. You two are such an example of a loving couple of whom are always together. Life will be different now but Glenn will still always be looking down. That is how I felt when I lost my Mom in 2016. Stay strong for your family.
