Evelyn C. (Leo) Peters, 91, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 1, 2008. Graveside services will be at 11am Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Glendale Cemetery.
Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Carrie (Stephen) Haigh and Cindy (Gary) Chambers, both of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Stephanie (Mark) Perington, Darci (Chris) Duey, Melanie (Tom) Scallon, Andrew (Meggan) Haigh and Ashley Chambers; and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Virgil Peters and 5 brothers.
