Bernadine Deal

Bernadine L. Deal, 73, of Des Moines passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 S.W. 9th Street. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in Des Moines. The visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Bernadine was born in Des Moines on November 23, 1934. She loved spending time with her family as they were a very important part of her life.
Bernadine is survived by her children, Donald L. Deal, Jerald (Tina) Deal Vicki (Rick) Hoffman and Gary (Connie) Deal; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Colleen Casner, Scott Wright Jr., David Wright, George Wright and Beverly Shackelford; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald E. Deal.
