Cindie
Just saw this, so sorry. I know you and he were very close. Sam & I moved at the end of October to an assisted living place. I'm under hospice care and no longer getting out, but would like to have been at the services.

Dear Cindie & Family:
Betty and I were so saddened to learn of the recent passing of our good friend Bud. Shirley and Bud were regarded and admired by many people and friends as a loving and honorable couple. Shirley was one of my best and most loyal friends at Roosevelt and we talked every day about things going on and about possible solutions to challenging situations. Bud became involved as a good friend and as a fellow Corvette admirer, except that Bud owned a Corvette at the time, and I didnt. The times that we spent talking with Bud and Shirley were treasured times. Everyone that I know thought Bud and Shirley were the greatest couple, and every time we go to the fair, we think of them sitting there and watching things unfold. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you in the days and months that lie ahead. We know for certain, that Bud has now joined Shirley in heaven, sitting on their bench and is smiling down upon us all.

Cindie, so sorry to hear of your Dads passing. I recall some good times visiting with Shirley and Bud over the years. He was always so welcoming and easy to talk to. I want you to know he was loved. Unfortunately we are out of town and will not be able to attend.
With deepest sympathy!

Cindy I am so sorry to see of your fathers passing. He was one of the easiest people I have ever met to just sit and have conversation with. My thoughts are with you at this sad time for you.
