Andre White, 39, of West Des Moines, IA, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on February 8, 2018 after a massive stroke in Rollins, IA.
Andre left behind his wife, Jessica Sokoll White; children, Collin 16, Amia 14, and Knox 5; his parents, Ruby (Dean) White and Dale White; siblings, Hamish, Camille, Nicole, Feliciano, and Tariq; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Andre worked at MJ Electrical as a lineman and was a member of the local Union 55. Andre attended Walnut Creek Church where he loved and served Jesus Christ.
There will be a visitation and meal at Walnut Creek Church in Windsor Heights on Monday, February 19 from 5-7 pm with followed by a Celebration of Life at 7 pm. Please dress casual or in a way that represents Andre.

Dale,Ruby,Hamish,Camille,Nicole,
Feliciano and Tariq. The first time I met Andre he called me sir. I didnt know what to think. But after 14 years of knowing Andre he was a man of honor. My son Collin could not have had a second father as great as Andre. Thank you guys for always inviting me to all of your family get togethers.

Andre made such an impact on so many of us. Ive known Andre for so many years. He was not just a coworker but an amazing friend. He was always there to help any of us and we counted on him for everything. Thank you for all the laughs and that amazing smile. Andre you will be truly missed by all of us. Fly high my dear friend

Andre White was a hard working God loving man. He had a great outlook on life and always saw the good in people. I learned a lot from Andre and truly believe that he was a messenger of Gods truth. He was my friend, coworker and brother. Praying for the White family that peace will wash over your grieving hearts.

Why you were taken so soon , the Lord only knows. Tears streamed down my face when I heard of your passing. Thought of you as one of my added children . I'm so so saddened by Andre's passing. I've known Andre for 20 yrs , used to work with him at Little Sprouts. I was so excited to see him again at a gathering for all the former employees for Little Sprouts. His big huge white smile always stood out , along with his great advice and outlook on life. I pray for his wife and kids, god please give them the strength they will need to try to accept this , I know one thing for sure , Andre will be looking down upon you , guiding you and keeping you safe. God bless the whole White family.
