Susan Yvonne Bruce

Susan Bruce, 68, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018. She was born August 18, 1949, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Clark and Minnie “Max” (Twaits) Beal. Susan was a mother, a wife, a friend, who loved to have fun and laugh. Susan used her middle finger as her main form of communication. She loved her husband and children, but her grandchildren were her the light in world. Sue would do anything for the people she loved. Susan will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Allan; grandson, Cody Allan; parents, Max and Clark; brother, Clark; and sister, Carolyn.

Susan is survived by her sons, Thomas (Jeri) of Des Moines and Troy of Des Moines; grandchildren, Kayla (Thomas) of VA, and Annastacia and Blaze of Des Moines; cousin, Monica (Terry) of NE; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
