Mary M. "Beeb" Plemone

Mary Margaret Plemone, known affectionately as “Beeb”, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at her home surrounded by the love of her family at the age of 81.

Beeb was born November 6, 1936, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Del and Mary Johnson. Family was her first priority. She was a member of AQHA and won a World Championship with Tuff Joe Reed and was highly regarded as one of the best trainers in the nation. She always showed her horses with professionalism and class, and that held true in everything Beeb did. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her dog, Bee Bee, and she loved her acreage.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Plemone; son, Mitch (Karen Gallegos); and her brother, Walter (Norma) Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Del and Mary Johnson.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and close family friends.
