Tina Vandermark

Tina Vandermark, 71, passed away on January 22, 2018, at Taylor House in Des Moines. She was born in Des Moines, on May 28, 1946, to Kenneth and Margarite Northway.

Tina enjoyed gambling, playing the slot machines and taking bus trips.

Tina is survived by her children, Dawn (Jason) Henry and Bill McClain; grandchildren, Christina Wilson, Renee (Josh) Pinkney, Niki McClain, Brandon Ritchie, Haven Henry, Kinser Henry, B.J. McClain, Lacey McClain, Cassie McClain, and Doug McClain; great-grandchildren, Lincoln and Addie; daughters-in-law, Debbie Wilson, Kathy McClain and Dawn McClain; brothers, Kenneth Northway and Jack (Linda) Northway; a host of other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ardis Vandermark; sons, Richard Wilson, Jr. and Jim McClain; brother, Bill Northway; and sister, Elaine McClain.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12 to 2 p.m., Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines.
