John V. Hall

John V. Hall passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 21, 2018. He was 97. John was born in Des Moines, Iowa. He served 20 years combined in the United States Army and the National Guard. He retired as a Major. John was an avid golfer and liked to play gin rummy. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He had a love of travel with Spain being one of his favorite places to visit. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed telling jokes!
John is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lorraine; daughter, Deborah (Dennis) Storey; step-son, Gerald Wales; grandchildren, Doug Wales, Denise Bowden, Scott Storey, Jeff Storey, Melissa Gourley; great-grandchildren, Jamie Wales, Michael Wales and Madison Vines, Drew, Jacob and Joel Storey, and Sam and Nick Gourley. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers.
