Betty Mitchell

Betty L. Mitchell, 71, passed away January 16, 2018 at Taylor House Hospice.

Betty was born July 25, 1946 in Albia, Iowa to Joe and Pauline Sholes. She worked as a computer operator for many years. Betty loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Betty is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Merrill; two sons, David and Danny; daughter, Denice; three grandchildren, Jessica, Daniel and Tanner; two great-grandchildren, Gabby and Brooklyn; four brothers; two sisters; good friend, Sandy; and a host of extended family and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her parents; and a brother.

Betty will be laid to rest at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter at a later date.
