Charles "Chuck" Barton

Charles “Chuck” Barton passed away on January 16, 2018. He was born July 7, 1953 in Des Moines to Robert and Pat (Cavender) Barton. Chuck married Sandra Boothroyd on February 27, 1982.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra; children, Joe (Stormi) Doland, Mike Doland, Mark (Jennifer) Doland and Sierra (Colton) Bishop; grandchildren, Traci, Nicki, Vivian, Mercedes, Skylar, Breauna, Emma, Elizabeth, Joshua, Grayson, Gannon and Micah; great-grandchildren, Ryder, Rylie and Ryot; sisters, Christy (Chris) Schuling, Karen Middleton and Kim Sigmund; and many relatives and friends.
Chuck was preceded in death by his brother, Tom Barton and his parents.
Visitation will be held at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW on Friday, January 19, 2018, from 4-7 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Evergreen Church of Christ, 2215 Evergreen in Des Moines.

Always liked chuck. Didn't see him much but when we did it was just like picking up and giving each other a hard time as if time never lasp at all. He will be missed. All my thoughts and prayers to his family.
