Dorothy Martineau was born April 8, 1924 to Arthur and Wilma Kliebenstein in Platteville, Wisconsin. She passed away January 6, 2018 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston at the age of 93.
Dorothy was a true homemaker. She loved to cook and take care of her family.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Ann (Terry) Breier, daughter-in-law, Brenda Martineau, grandchildren, Victoria (fiancé, Roger Hicks) Kellogg, Anthony (Dori) Knowlton, Sr., Heather Law, Sarah (Kyle) McGraw and Amber (Chad) Lint; great-grandchildren, Daniel (Olivia) Kellogg, Anthony Knowlton, Jr., Kathryn Law, Madison and Makayla McGraw, Abagail and Sie Lint; a great-great-grandchild on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde “Bud” Martineau; her son, David John Martineau; and her brother, Clayton Kliebenstein.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2018 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Dorothy will be laid to rest in Platteville, Wisconsin at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Mercy Hospice in Johnston or to the family for the purchase of non-perishable food items for the Family Hospitality Room at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.

We are so saddened to hear about your mother passing. But we know she is now at peace without pain and seeing those who passed before her. I wish we could be there to hold your hand during this difficult time but you are strong and will survive!
