Jason and Jenni, We are really missing you! We had a lovely celebration for Grandma today. Over 60 friends and family joined us in our grief, goodbyes and memories. Grandma had a beautiful spray of yellow roses, and every one went home with a few flowers just like at your wedding. Many friends reminded us that they were continuing to pray for you and your family. Kristen put her college to good use and played a song on the piano. Gus and Nathan were pallbearers. We love you lots and lots and send hugs and kisses on the wings of angels from our hearts to yours. Love, Mom

Alice was so important to me when I was growing up: she spoiled me in a way that couldn't be duplicated by my own family! Memories that come back are Christmas Eve visits and the time she gave me a hand sewn nurse's uniform, and Greg got his arm stuck in a giant phone receiver novelty gift, while we laughed and took pictures of my mother yelling into the receiver at his hand.... 7-up and sherbet floats... Lady Luck, who sat on her shelf for so many years... trips to Flower City and Howard Johnson's on Saturday mornings... pop bead necklaces and poor Fritz the dog howling away while she played Alley Cat on her organ...how nice she smelled and how pretty her handwriting was....the compass on her dashboard, the first one I had ever seen... how good she was to my dad when he was dying...
Greg was my hero when I was little, and she riased an imgainative, energetic, "cautionary tale" of a kid who made my mother laugh and was always welcome in my house, even when he was doing things we should not have approved of! Alice raised a great kid and loved her grandkids dearly, and she lived a long, good life.
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Alice Roberts was our second mom. We grieve with you.
She had her hands full with Greg. She had her hands fuller with the five Coverdale kids hanging around. I think we prepared her for the vigors of Greg & Julia's delightful progeny.
Alice was fun and she was feisty And she was very much loved and prized.
She could not have had a more faithful and loving family on earth. Now she is with the family of faithful in heaven.
Peace. Mike & Jeanne
