Gerald Washington Page

Gerald Page, 90, passed away on January 3, 2018, at his home in Tucson, Arizona. He was born in Jackson Township, Iowa on February 22, 1927, to Samuel and Mary (Chambers) Page. Gerald married Mary Byrns on February 20, 1953.

Gerald worked for Firestone Tire, until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, playing billiards and riding his bicycle.

Gerald is survived by his loving wife, Mary; daughters, Mary Ellen Page and Linda (Doug) Simmons; grandchildren, Jeremy (Amy) Simmons and Tabatha (Jaime) Tapia; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Cody, Ryan, Noah and Ella; sister, Betty Becker; sister-in-law, Gail Page; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Vena, Berniece, Viola, Everett and Ruth; and his parents.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1 NE 60th Ave., Des Moines.
