Linda M. Wells

Linda M. Wells, 61, passed away Friday at the Kavanagh House on 56th Street. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Tuesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11 to 1pm at the funeral home.
Linda was born March 31, 1947 to Norma and Carl Hampe in Des Moines. She worked at Bud Mulchay’s and then for Marsden for many years. Linda was a proud member of the “Grandmother Club”. She loved her grandchildren and had many adopted “grandchildren” whom she considered her own. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching WWE wrestling, doing latchhook..and loved horses.
Linda is survived by her children, Melissa Hampe (Rafael) and Mark Hampe (Sheila) ; her eight grandchildren; her brothers, Paul (Nancy) and Pat Hampe and her sister, Queeny Iverson-Moore (Larry). Linda was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Rick.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Linda’s family in her loving memory.

Cherish the memories and talk about them. They are the gifts.
Our Danish fathers (Elmer & Don)were alike in so many ways.

Sorry i can not be there at this time--but really i didn't want to be--The Linda that i knew was happy--giving--and caring---she gave away things that she didn't have..that's my Linda and that's what i remember--for those of you who don't know Linda excepted the lord Jesus into her life about a month before she passed on to the heavens--that was our relationship between our selfs...I will see Linda again in heaven will you ? She loved life and loved to laugh--which i made her do many times--she says please take care of my grand children and most important--my daughter Missy--which took and loved me with all her heart---give of your selfs and give to others---but please give your life to Jesus Christ that's the only way to heaven==== i love love every one of you, wished i could see you all, i will at another time just not this time---please understand--My love is there for this women more than you know..Ralph please take care of my babies and my daughter--i will be watching you--and trust in you---Love John And Linda
