Steve was our neighbor on SE Hughes in the 80's. Have fond memories of playing cards, Rook and Pinochle passing away the time on Saturday nights. My late husband and I bowled on a Saturday night league for several years with him. My daughters, Janelle and Johanne grew up with his kids, Eric, Andrea and Jason. Many summer evenings spend playing a neighbor game of volley ball too. So sorry for your loss. May you be resting in peace.

I will always remember Spike, not Stephen or Steve. My family lived across the street from Spike and his family. As a child, his family was like my family and it was nothing to walk in the front door of their house without knocking. I also went on several trips with the Ludwicks. One of my most memorable ones was a trip in 1968 to California. Spike was a friend of my brothers and graduated high school with my brother, Charlie. I remember Spike and his collection of comic books. He always had the current Archie comic books. RIP Spike. - Little Mary

I knew Stephen in my early years and lost touch with him when we relocated to another state. Even though we hadent seen each other in many years, I still have fond memories of hunting and fishing and spending time with him. I believe that childhood friends, because of their innocence are your only true friends. And Stephen will always be my friend. May God comfort his family and friends.
