Angelita Ramirez, 65, passed away Monday, December 25, 2017, surrounded by her family. She was born February 1, 1952, in Des Moines, Iowa. Angelita was an RN and retired from Broadlawns. After retirement, she went back to work for Eyerly Ball in Des Moines. Angelita loved her family and her granddaughters were her world.
She is survived by her daughter Cathy (Drew), granddaughters Hannah and Mia, sisters Lupe and Julie, and brother Juan. Angelita was preceded in death by her parents Marcos and Mercedez Ramirez, sister Louisa and five brothers.
Family will begin greeting guests at 12 p.m., with funeral service at 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Private family burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Angelita.

Well I will certainly miss her wit and her finger. She will be missed. Thanks for sharing her. You were lucky to have her. She was a generous soul. Work will not be the same. And the world lost a good person.
