Susan Clark, 68, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Taylor House Hospice. Susan was born on March 14, 1949 in Des Moines, Iowa.
Susan graduated from East High School and was a member of Simpson United Methodist Church. In her early years she worked for Vehicle Registration for the State of Iowa, M & M Sales – Auto Parts Inventory and as a legal secretary for Ted Rockwell. Susan was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family, she was blessed to able to stay at home and raise her children and also her grandchildren. Susan was a loving mother, grandmother, and loved her faith. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Thomas; sons, Kurt Anderson and Matthew (Darci) Clark; grandchildren, Miranda Hodges, Jacob Anderson, Parker Clark, Abbigale Clark, Justin Fogle and Jaxon Fogle; mother, Jacolyne Anderson; siblings, Vicki (Gary) Stroud, Lynnette (Larry) Smith, Nancy (Richard) Kalina, and Steven (Renee) Anderson; and her favorite cat, Toby.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, Leo Anderson.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 27th at the funeral home with burial to follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Simpson United Methodist Church in loving memory of Susan.

My heartfelt condolences for the loss of your beloved, Susan. Please know that Jehovah God and his son Jesus Christ is aware of your pain and they care for you. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) . I pray that you are able to find comfort in God's promise of paradise where there will be no more pain and sorrow (Revelation 21:4,5) and the many wonderful memories of your loved one becoming a reality in the future resurrection in paradise. (Acts 24:15). Please accept my sincere condolences.
