Cynthia Westerberg
December 22, 2017
Cindy Westerberg, 62, passed away peacefully Friday, December 22, 2017 with her sons and sister by her side. Her battle of seven long years with cancer has ended. She fought hard and suffered but always with a beautiful smile on her face and a knock-knock joke ready to tell until the very end. Cindy was and is a true epitome of love. She loved people, her family, and especially children.

John, Nick, Fred, and Linda,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Although I had not seen Cindy in a long time we did communicate through facebook. She loved life and her family. You all were her pride and joy. My deepest sympathies.

Thinking of you, John and Nick, and all of the times we have shared together as a family. Remembering your beautiful mother while you all lived at the home place in Fayetteville, North Carolina, when you both were very young and lifting you all in prayer during this period of sadness. Love your Aunt Marion, and cousins, Susan, and Bill.

Met Cindy at her Oncology office! We enjoyed lots of talks and laughs. She had a wonderful smile and a beautiful soul. I'm so glad to have met her and to have been part of her journey. She is free of pain and now will live in comfort and peace all the days.

Nick and John, Mark and I knew your mom through your Aunt Linda. We are very sorry for your loss. We pray Cindy's star will continue to shine through the two of you and her beloved grandbabies. The greatest tribute you can give her is to love and live well.
