Beverly Jean Roberts passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the Indianola Good Samaritan Society at the age of 89.

Beverly was born July 24, 1928 in Des Moines to Kenneth and Addie (Conard) Cockayne. Beverly was a member of Grace Church and cherished time spent with her family.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Janie (Warren) Edenburn; sons, Bill (Debi) Roberts and Jimmy (Jan) Roberts; 8 grandchildren, Chrissy Greco, Billy Roberts, Jr., Charity Klop, Brad Edenburn, Kim Olson, Leslie Kell, Jimmy Roberts, Jr., and Elizabeth Finn; 11 great-grandchildren, Billy Roberts Webb, Mikhaila Greco, Allison Lumadue, Luca Roberts, Ellie Klop, Cali Klop, Tiffany Palladino, Nick Olson, Lydia Kell, Noah Kell, and Micah Kell; brother, Robert Cockayne; and a host of extended family and beloved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billie J. Roberts; and her brother, Jerry Cockayne.

The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Grace Church, 4200 E. 25th Street. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday at the church followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
