Donna Ness

Donna Lee Ness, 70, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Kavanagh House in Des Moines.

Donna was born November 29, 1947, in Des Moines, Iowa to William and Beverly Burton. She worked as a beautician for a number of years. When she and her husband George started their family, she was able to stay home and raise her sons. Her favorite pastime was cooking with her girlfriends. Above all else, she treasured time spent with her family, especially her granddaughters.

Donna is survived by her sons, Elliot (Allison) Ness and Aaron Ness; granddaughters, Kate and Abby; and her brother, Bill (Sharon) Burton.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, George and her parents, William and Beverly Burton.

According to Donna’s wishes, there will be no public service held at this time. A contribution may be directed to the family or a charity of your choice to honor Donna’s memory.
