Dear Lankford Family,
I knew Gene from the Waukee YMCA where he regularly used the machines and walked around the track. Gene was friendly to everyone and loved to tell stories. He liked teasing, having a good laugh, and discussing topics of interest. Gene was well-known to those us who were morning exercisers. I will miss him.
With sympathy for your loss,

Dear Lankford Family,
It is with heavy hearts that we convey our condolences to you all. The loss of a loved one is huge and Gene will be missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you during this difficult time. We did not know Gene very long but spent our first year at Legacy Pointe residing across the hall from him. We spent a lot of time talking, laughing and teasing in the hall and dining room. He had the most infectious smile and twinkle in his eyes as we teased each other. May God bless you and your families in this time of sorrow. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate his life.
May he rest in peace!
With our deepest sympathies,
Richard & Sharon Glenn
