Bob always had a smile on his face - we met at Bickford where I have been volunteering for 15 years, I enjoyed several years of playing Bridge with Bob until he bacame to ill play. Some days I would get him and he would sit and chuckle while watching us. I still would stop to say Hi on Bridge days, even waking him up he had a smile and twinkle. I truly love this man, he gave me many happy fun hours at the game table, I miss his twinkle and hugs.. Missing my own father, Bob became so special to me, You had a great man with you. He is missed by so many.

Dear Steve, Jill, and Bill,
My thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of your dad. I will always remember the good times in Mason City, the card games, babysitting you three, the times we dropped in at your house, or you stopped by on 12th Street. Bob's laugh, his grin, the twinkle in his eyes are unforgettable. As a kid, I thought he was just a fun uncle, but what I learned and will always remember is how well he cared for those he loved. He was the one who looked out for Grandma and Alice. He made the trips to decorate the family graves each Memorial Day. When Mother hardly know where she was or barely recognized those around her, he called regularly, sent cards, and made the trips to visit her. They had a special bond, and she always lit up when he was with her. He and your mother were a wonderful couple, and his devotion, his love, and his care for her were touching and beautiful. His was a life well lived. Rest in peace, Uncle Bob. You were loved and you will be missed.
