Norma Smith

Norma Jean Smith, 56, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at her home from cancer. A funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
Norma was born September 7, 1951 to Norman and Katherine Bossuot in Des Moines. She spent her life caring for her family and friends.
Norma is survived by her husband, Tom Smith; children, Tim Hall Sr., Melissa Blodgett, Mindy (Jeff) Collins, Michelle Baker, Denise Smith, Tonya Smith, Tim Smith Sr., Tommy Smith Jr., Tammi Denin, Mike Smith, Matt Smith, Jessica Hall, Timmy Smith, and Kyla Smith; mother, Katherine Bossuot; sisters, Judy Akers and Linda Cameron; several grandchildren; and numerous dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Norma Smith Memorial Fund, Liberty Bank, 700 Walnut Suite 203, Des Moines, IA 50309.
Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Following the service there will be a reception at Hamilton's Funeral Home.
