Marvin Hammernick, Jr.

Marvin Hammernick, Jr., 49, passed away December 3, 2017. He was born in Des Moines, IA on December 2, 1968, to Frances and Marvin Hammernick, Sr.

Marvin enjoyed fishing, gaming, and cars. He also enjoyed dragons, skulls, fairies, and anything supernatural.

Marvin is survived by his children, Cody Kincayde, Alicia Hammernick, and Brett Hammernick; grandchildren, Dremire and Rorianna Love, and Aiden Hammernick; long-time companion, Valerie Jensen; and a host of other loving family and beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Sr. and Frances; and his brother, Bruce Green.

A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017, in the fellowship hall in the lower level of Community of Christ Church located at 4504 Ashworth Road in West Des Moines, IA.
