Rocky W. Dunagan

Rocky W. Dunagan, 60, passed away Friday, December 1, 2017, at Taylor House Hospice after a battle with cancer. He was born January 8, 1957, in Des Moines, to Addie and Jack Dunagan. He was proud of his tenure with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. He began working there in 2007 and worked there for 10 years. He loved watching football and was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes and Detroit Lions fan.

Rocky is survived by his children, Ashley Conner, John (Tiffany), Jacob, and Alex Dunagan; first wife, Cheryl Dunagan; second wife, Kim Dunagan; and his sister, Pam Dunagan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Roger.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, December 4, 2017, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to his family for a future designation.
