Ricky Lee Bond

Rick Bond of Des Moines passed away December 14, 2006 at home of an apparent heart attack at the age of 53 years, 3 months and 15 days.
Rick, the son of Robert and Marie Bond was born in Chariton, Iowa. He graduated from Chariton and attended DMACC. Due to ill health, he was disabled but was a musician and a well known guitar player.
Rick is survived by his four children, Jody (Darrell) Brown of Melcher, Brandy Strange of Newton, Robert of Wilmar, MN and Brian of Mason City, IA; his mother, Marie Bond Reaves of Des Moines; several grandchildren, aunts and uncles and a large group of fellow musicians. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Bond and his step father, Bill Reaves.
Rick was a member of the American Legion. He was also an avid motorcyclist and rode in the Legion Star formation, and was also a member of the Patriot Riders
