Ronald McCall

Ronald “Chub” McCall, 79, died Monday, April 21, 2008 at Trinity Center at Luther Park. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM, Friday, April 25, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Burial will be at Munterville Lutheran Cemetery in Munterville, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM, Thursday evening, at the funeral home.
Ronald was born July 26, 1928 in Ottumwa, Iowa. He was a U.S. Army veteran, during his service years he was a boxer for the army. Ronald loved ALL of his grandkids. He loved to dance and play golf. Ronald was an insurance salesman for many years, after retiring he then became employed for Western Manufactoring. Ronald was a member of Lutheran Church of the Cross.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Carol; daughter, Ronna (John) Swacker; step-son, Kevin (Kathy) Bretz; brother, Robert McCall; grandchildren, Scott, Kristie and Kellie; and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna Rae McCall of 50 years and brother, Daryl McCall.
In lieu of any gladiolas, memorial contributions can be given to Alzheimer’s Association or to the family.
