David L. Foust, 85, of Des Moines died on Friday, April 18, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines of heart failure. A memorial service will be held at 7 P.M. Tuesday evening at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 4-7 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
David was a retired foreman at Neuman Brothers Construction and was a Navy veteran of WW II serving on the USS Nevada.
He is survived by his wife Helen, his children Glenda (Lester) Statler, Vicki Foust, Debbie Brown and Brian Foust all of Des Moines, 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ellis and Faye Foust, his brother Howard Foust, his close cousin Bud McAninch, and his son-in-law John Brown.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
