Frank Wright

Frank J. Wright, 63, of West Des Moines died on Sunday, April 20, 2008 at the Kavanagh House on Grand Avenue. Frank was born on April 15, 1945 in Waukesha, WI, to Irena and Harold Wright. They moved to Knoxville, IA, where he spent his childhood.
Frank worked as a beer and bread sales rep most of his life retiring from Sara Lee Bakery due to illness. He enjoyed collecting steins and antiques plus being around family and friends. He adored his little dog, "Dexter". Frank was a member of First Christian Church.
Frank is survived by his wife of 41 years, Janet; son, Kevin Wright (Kimberly) of Elkhart, IA; his brother, Clifford Wright (Lorine), Taneyville, MO; two sisters, Darlene Wright, Palm Bay, FL, and Debra Carroll, Des Moines, IA, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Harold Wright.
Visitation will be held at Hamilton's on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway,West Des Moines, from 5 PM to 7 PM, Wednesday, April 23, 2008. Funeral Services will be at First Christian Church, 25th and University, Des Moines, IA, Thursday, April 24, 2008 at 10 AM. Burial will be at Jordan Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to either First Christian Church or Hospice of Central Iowa.
