Raymond Runyan

Raymond M. Runyan, 100, of Bondurant died on April 19, 2008 at the Carlisle Care Center. A memorial service will be held at the Bondurant Christian Church on Friday, April 25th, 2008 at 11am. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Raymond was born on March 22, 1908 to Oscar and Jennie Runyan. He was the owner of Bondurant Hardware. He was a school board and city council member, He belonged to the King David Masonic Lodge, Bondurant American Legion Post, and the Lions Club. He also enjoyed fishing.
Raymond is survived by his daughter, Marianne (Dean) Barrett of Bondurant; son, Michael (Joan) of Albia; grandsons, Brad Barrett and Michael (Jodi) Runyan; granddaughters, Lisa (Brian) Dillavou and Stacie (Mike) Gibler; eleven great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren; and his sister, Arlene Lewis. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 78 years Dorothy Clark; brothers, Cloyde, Ralph, and Ivan; and sisters, Frances, Lylus and Louise.
